David Rae Was Killed by a Truck
September 2000 in San Francisco

On September 15, 2000, 45 year old psychiatric nurse David Rea was inline skating in the streets of San Francisco. When he attempted to cross the intersection at Fell and Stanyon Streets, he was struct by a truck.

He was taken to the emergency room of San Francisco General Hospital, which also happened to be the hospital where he worked as a nurse. He was pronounce dead as soon as he arrived at the hospital. The cause of death as a tramautic head injuury, but it is not known whether or not he was wearing a helmet.
