First Derby Tournament Between Two African Countries
Article about a March 15, 2020 roller derby bout between teams from Egypt and South Africa. Participating teams included the CaiRollers of Cairo in Egypt, the Cape Town Rollergirls of Cape Town in Spouth Africa, the Durban Roller Derby of Durban in South Africa, and the Golden City Rollers of Johannesburg in South Africa. The bout was held at Uniao Portuguesa, 64 Eastwood Street, in the Turffontein suburb of Johannesburg, South Africa.
