Oman Skating Sports Committee (OSSC)
Umbrella organization for all sports in Oman related to skating including ice hockey, roller skating, and other skating sports. The committee is recognized by the International Ice Hockey Federation as the national governing body for ice hockey in Oman.

Oman Ice Sports Committee
Organization established in February of 2014 by the Oman Ministry of Sports to control ice hockey and other ice sports in the Sultanate of Oman. On May 24, 2014 the committee was recognized by the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) as an associate member and the national governing body for the sport of ice hockey in Oman. Note that the organization's official Web site at oisc.om is no longer online but their social media sites can still be viewed. Ice hockey in Oman isnow governmed by the Oman Skating Sports Committee.

Oman is not a member of the International Skating Union (ISU) that governs the sports of ice figure skating and ice speedskating.

Relaunched Oman Skating Body Set for Busy Year
From the article: "Oman Skating Sports Committee (OSSC) is one of latest relaunched committees by the Ministry of Sports Affairs. The latest committee is an umbrella of all the sports related to skating including ice hockey, free style skating which comprise of roller skating and other related sports." 2019 July
Al Khoudh Emerge Champions in Roller Skating Tournament
From the article: "As many as 90 players took part in the first edition of one-day roller skating tournament organised by the Oman Skating Sports Committee (OSSC) on Saturday at the indoor hall of the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex. The tournament was part of the OSSC preparation for the development of the domestic teams ahead of the World roller skating tournament in India in next November." Article published in November of 2016 on the Times of Oman Web site about the two Fun Zone ice skating rinks in Oman, oe in Qurum and another inside the Grand Mall in Nizwa. (according to one source, Fun Zone Nizwa opened in early 2016).
