FROM TH3E ARTICLE: Skate School recently opened in Bahrain to give people of all ages skateboarding lessons, which founder Zeyad says he decided to do to give kids an activity to do during this year’s COVID lockdown and restrictions. Zeyad has been skating for around fifteen years and got the idea of opening Skate School after being approached to give lessons, which he now does with skate buds Ahmed and Saif. They’re also giving out rollerblading lessons.

Ice skating festival set to kick off at Wadi Al Sail Mall

FROM THE ARTICLE: A spectacular month-long winter-themed festival, Wadi Skate, is set to kick off on Thursday (Aug 4) at a major mall in Riffa, offering a perfect family getaway from the scorching summer. Organised in co-operation with Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA) at Wadi Al Sail, visitors can enjoy ice-skating at an indoor rink open with live music and mouthwatering food from Sunday (Aug 7) to Thursday (Aug 11) f rom 12 noon to 10 pm, and from 12 noon to midnight on weekends, until September 3.
