A new organization known as the Bandy Federation of Denmark (Dansk Bandy Forbund) was established in 2014 by two Danish brothers: Ole Gyldenlöve and Christian Gyldenlöve. That organization became a member of the International Bandy Federation (FIB) in 2014. Unfortunately the Danish federation later became inactive and it was removed from the FIB member list in 2017.

Denmarks first bandy federation was established in 1909 as the Danish Bandy Union (Dansk bandy Union). That federation sent a team to the 1917 Nordic Games, but they later ceased operating. A new organization known as the Bandy Federation of Denmark (Dansk Bandy Forbund) was established in 2014 by two Danish brothers: Ole Gyldenlöve and Christian Gyldenlöve and it became a member of the International Bandy Federation (FIB) in 2014.
