Water Sports and National Velodrome-Skating Track Complex
The National Water Sports Complex and Velodrome-Patinódromo is located in the city of San Salvador , El Salvador . Owner: National Institute of Sports of El Salvador Capacity: 2,000 each viewers Opening: 1960, 2002 Events: Water sports, cycling, skating. The aquatic facilities are popularly known as "El Polvorín" [ 1 ] and host different disciplines such as swimming , synchronized swimming , diving and water polo . For its part, the cycling track is 333.33 m long, and within it, there is a 200 m skating rink . Since May 22, 2013, it has been called the " Evelyn García National Velodrome ".
