Federation Launches "Put Wheels on Your Dreams" Program
El Heraldo article published in March of 2017 about an initiative of the Honduran Skating Federation offering skating classes to children age three and older from public and low income schools. Classes are taught in the parking lot of the Cascadas Mall. The program is an effort to promote skating as a recreational and competitive activity in Honduras.

Skating continues to grow in Honduras. "Put a Wheel on Your Dreams" is an initiative of the Honduran Skating Federation offering classes from Tuesday to Sunday at in the parking lot of the Cascadas Mall in (Tegucigalpa?) Honduras. Tuesday throug Friday classes are 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday classes are 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. The activity to promote this sport has fulfilled expectations. There are 64 children who practice in Tegucigalpa and 77 in San Pedro Sula and in the discipline of skateboarding there are 320 young people who practice it.
