Indonesian Roller Skate Association Apologizes For Roller Skates Crossing Gatsu Street
Article published in May of 2022 on the "voi.id" Web site. FROM THE ARTICLE: "The chairman of the All-Indonesian Roller Skate Association (Porserosi), opened his voice regarding the viral video of a group of roller skates crossing General Gatot Subroto's road. In his explanation, Muhammad Sal said that the 12 roller skates that passed were Porserosi athletes who were preparing for the F irst Lady's Cup National Championship and preparation for the Asian Games. The chairman of Porserosi reasoned that the athlete's training ground at the Jakarta International Roller Track Arena (JIRTA), Sunter, North Jakarta, was still closed due to the Eid holiday. Meanwhile, the athletes still have to maintain stamina and physicality. As has been widely reported, several roller skaters were seen on the road that was not where they should be. Seen one of the roller skates was angry when a motorist honked their horn."
