Ak-Bulak Ice Rink
Year-round ice rink and concert complex within the
Ak Bulak Mountain Resort.
Te rink has ice figure skating, ice hockey, and ice speedskating programs.
It can seat 500 people and it can be transformed into
a venue for dance, gymnastics,and volleyball competitions.
the Ak Bulak resort is located
about 1,600 meters above sea level,
at the base of the Zailiysky Alatau Mountains,
near the city of Talgar, and about
35 kilometers from the city of
Almaty. The rink was the curling
venue for the 2017 Winter Universiade.

Alau Ice Palace
Construction began on this indoor skating stadium
in 2007 and it was completed in four years.
it has a 400 meter ice track with seating
for more than 7,400 spectators. The facility
also has two ice hockey rinks, a jury room, a
press conference room,and eight changing rooms
for athletes.

IN KAZAKH SCRIPT: Балуан Шолақ атындағы спорт сарайы,
Indoor arena in the city of Almaty named
in honor of Kazakh composer, singer, poet, dombra player,
dzhigit equestrian and wrestler Baluan Shokak.
The arena first opened in 1967 and it was renovated
between 2009 and 2011 to prepare for hosting the
figure skating, ice hockey, and speedskating
competions at the 2011 Asian Winter Games.
Was also a venue for the
2015 Pacific-Asia Curling Championships
and short track speedskating competition
at the 2017 Winter Uiversiade.
The arena is the home ice for the Aisulu Almaty Women's Ice Hockey Team.
The Baluan Sholak Ice Palace is located at
Abay Avenue 44, corner Baitursynuly Street,
in the city of Almaty, Kazakhstan.

The arena is a venue for ice hockey tournaments and other events.
Home arena of the Barys Astana Ice Hockey Team.
The arena can seat more than 11,000 people

Built between 1964 and 1968, first opened on December 31, 1968,
and renovated in 2001.
Known as the Ust-Kamenogorsk Sports Palace 1968-1999.
Known as the Commercial Center of Sports and Leisure 1999-2010.
Renamed in 2010 in honor of Soviet and Kazakhstani ice hockey player
Boris Alexandrov.
Originally the arena could seat about 5,200 but
the 2001 renovation reduced seating capacity to about 4,400.
The rink is the home ice of the Kazzinc-Torpedo Ice Hockey Club.
The Boris Alexandrov Sports Palace is
located on Abay Avenue in the Kazakhstan city of Oskemon
which is also known as Ust-Kamenogorsk.

Ice hockey rink within a sports complex located in the city of Nur-Sultan.
Construction of the rink began in 1999 and it was
inaugurated by the president of Kazakhstan on March 6, 2001.
The sports complex also has a swimming pool and a health club.
The rink was renovated in preparation for hosting
the men's ice hockey tournament of the
2011 Asian winter Games.

Outdoor, high altitude, ice speedskating track and bandy rink
situated nearly 1,700 meters (bout 5,550 feet) above sea level.
Construction began on the facility in 1949.
It first opened un 1951 and was renovated in
1972, 2003, and 2009.
Located in the valley of the Malaya Almatinka
