The debut of the Macanese Men's Roller Hockey Team was at the 1984 World Championship of Roller Hockey where they finished in ninth place.

Macau organized the "B" Rink Hockey world championships in 1990, 1998, and 2004. The team finished in 4th place at the 2004 event, qualifying them to compete in the "A" categorey, the first time for an Asian team.

In 2009 and 2011 the team was invited to participate in the "63 Nations Tournament" in Montreaux, Switzerland.
