NAME: Namibia Ice and Inline Hockey Association (NIIHA)
NIIHA is the governing body for competitive ice hockey and inline hockey
in Namibia. The organization was founded on May 31, 1998
when it became a member of the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF).
It resigned from IIHF on May 19 2017 because the lack of
ice rinks made it impossible to grow an ice hockey program in the country.
The NIIHA later became a member of the International Roller Sports
organization (now known as "World Skate") and began focusing
on developing an inline hockey program.
Note that the association's former web site at
"niiha dot com" is no longer online.
