DESCRIPTION: 700 meter speed skating track
that first opened in 2016.
situated within
Luis Alfonso Velázquez Flores Park in the city of
Managua, Nicaragua. The facility can accommodate
up to 500 people.
In the past those who practice this sport have done so
on the street or in spaces not built for that purpose,
such as Puerto Salvador Allende, Paseo Xolotlán,
Paseo de los Estudiantes, Plaza de la Revolución
and even the busy Avenida de Bolívar to Chávez.
With the opening of this new track, they will no
longer have to expose themselves to any accident,
but on the contrary, exploit their potential in
an extreme sport like this.
