Boris Trajkovski Sports Center Ice Rink
Ice skating rink that first opened in March of 2011.
The rink is 25 meters to 56 meters in size, it has
programs for ice hockey and ice figure skating,
and it offers ice skating sessions and skating lessons
The rink is located in the North Macedonia capital city of Skopje.

Ice Rink Kale
HISTORY:
Skopje ice skating rink built to host a 1969
event that doubled as the 36th Ice Hockey World Championships
and the 47th European Ice Hockey Championships.
That event was actually held in 3 cities, one of which was Skopje,
and the others were Stockholm, Sweden and Ljubljana, Slovenia.
The Skopje rink event opened on February 24, 1969, and
games were played there between
Denmark, Bulgaria, Hungary, Japan, Netherlands, and Switzerland.

Skopje Hosted a World Ice Hockey Tournament in 1969:
RENOVATION:
It was announced in February of 2020 that
the old skating rink below the Fortess Kale in Skopje
would be restored and operated by the Skating Federation
of Macedonia for the next 30 years.
