FROM THE ARTICLE: The girls representing the Loops Panama Figure Skating Club won several gold, silver and bronze medals after their international participation from May 3 to 9 in the Pan-American Clubs and Nations, organized by World Skate America, in Guayaquil, Ecuador. The event brought together the best skaters from 10 countries: Colombia, Argentina, Paraguay, Uruguay, Mexico, Ecuador, Bolivia, Brazil, the Dominican Republic and Panama. 8-year-old Lía Suira won a bronze medal, 14-year-old Honeyliz Espinosa won the silver medal and 15-year-old Montserrat Phillips won the gold medal in dance. Loops Panama has an elite team of coaches such as: Verónica Bellocchio (Argentina), Javier Buitrago and David Jiménez (Colombia), Pablo Goróz (Argentine), Bruna Cunha (Brazil), Inés Ponzo (Uruguay) and Paola Estrada (Panama).

FROM THE ARTICLE: This team will represent Panama in the Pan American Championship of Clubs and Nations of Figure Skating that will take place from May 3 to 9, 2021 in Ecuador. A selected skaters from the Loops Panama figure skating club will compete in the Pan American Championship of Figure Skating Clubs and Nations organized by World Skate America that will be held from May 3 to 9, 2021 in Guayaquil, Ecuador and will bring together the best skaters from 10 countries: Colombia, Argentina, Paraguay, Uruguay, Mexico, Ecuador, Bolivia, Brazil, the Dominican Republic and Panama. The athletes that make up the team, Lía Isabella Suira (8 years old), Lía Isabella Carmona (8 years old), Camille Zamora (9 years old), Laura Castillo (9 years old), Gianna Robles (10 years old), Honeyliz Espinosa (14 years old) and Montserrat Phillipps (15 years old), registered for the Pan American in the modalities of Dance, Free and Figures, along with the other athletes of the high performance team, Alana Carrión (9 years old), Camila Garrido (9 years old), Gianna Babinczuk (11 years old), Alessia Molari (11 years old), Victoria Sánchez (11 years old), Sofía Zentay (12 years old), Fabiana Peña (13 years old) and Kim Gómez Loayza (15 years old), have trained continuously, both virtually during the harsh times of confinement, and then face-to-face on the academy track, under a comprehensive work plan that ranges from physical and technical preparation to the mental strength of the athletes.
