Organizations
Figure and Speed Skating Association of Thailand
Organization established on April 27, 1995 after
Lieutenant General MR Somchaok Kridakon became a member
of the Asian Skating Union (ASU) with assistance from
Japan in 1988, and Thailand became a member of the
International Skating Union (ISU).
This new organization was created because the ISU only
governs ice speedskating, ice figure
sakating and synchronized ice skating
(not other ice sports such as ice hockey).
