DESCRIPTION: Winter sports complex that first opened in 2011. The ice rink is 60 meters by 30 meters in size and the overall capacity of the complex is 10,000.

An indoor ice rink opened in Khujand in 2012 near a sports complex known as the Khujand Sport Arena, The rink measures 30x40 in size. Tajik president, Enomali Rahmon, was present for the opening of the Khujand Sport Arena, which houses the facility.

Winter Olympic Complex Is Built in Turkmenistan
Winter sport complex built by Turkish construction company Polimeks. It has facilities for ice hockey and ice skating and a 350-bed boarding school. Its grand openinfg was a lavish ceremony attended by 10,000 people and presided over by Turkmenistan's President Gurbanguly Berdymukhammedov .
