About the U.S. Sledge Hockey Team
The United States men's national ice sledge hockey team represents the United States at the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) World Championships and at Paralympic Games. The team is overseen by USA Hockey.

U.S. Gold in Paralympic Sledge Hockey
Sledge hockey first became a Paralympics medal sport at the 1994 Paralympic Games in Lillehammer, Norway. The United States was won their first Paralympic sledge hockey gold medal at the 2002 Winter Paralympics in Salt Lake City.
