Indoor skatepark that closed after an October 14, 2018
fire resulted in a total loss of the facility. The
fire was caused by a spark that happened when a
construction crew was finishing a remodel of the facility.
The skatepark was formerly Located at 1284 North Cedar Road in
Mason, Ingham County, Michigan.

First opened in 1990, making it one of the oldest
and most well-known skateparks in Michigan.

Indoor, wooden surface skatepark
operated by the
Naz Youth Center and Skatepark Ministry of the
Brighton Nazarene Church.
Formerly located in Brighton, Livingston County, Michigan.
The skatepark's "farewell skate" event
was held on November 21, 1920.
CLOSURE ANNOUNCEMENT:
"By an overwhelming vote of the church membership on October 18, 2020,
The Naz Skate Park will be immediately and permanently closed.
For over 20 years, the skate park has been an important part
of our church and community outreach efforts, and it has been
our privilege to serve literally thousands of skaters during
this incredible season. Having said that, we now believe this
particular season has come to a close and it’s time to “revision”
this ministry to more effectively reach out to the young people
of our church and community"

Skatepark formerly located at 333 Charles H Orndorf Drive
Brighton, Livingston County, Michigan
(behind the Meijor Store on Grand River Avenue).
The skatepark was operated by the
Southeastern Livingston County Recreation Authority
beginning in 2004.
