Description: Discover our focus on "The Last Game", an ice hockey match aimed at raising public awareness of the melting ice in the Arctic. Created on the initiative of Viatcheslav Fetisov, living legend of ice hockey in Russia and United Nations Ambassador for the Polar Regions, the Principality in turn hosted this unique event in the world on the Port Hercule ice rink in the presence of H.S.H. Prince Albert II.

Description: Organized by the Skating Club of Monaco (SCOM), a first ice hockey tournament took place in the Principality on the temporary ice rink at the Stade Nautique Rainier III. Opposing four teams, it was the "Barracudas" of Monaco who won against the "Teddies" of Nice. Franck Nicolas, President of the SCOM, talks about the genesis of this tournament and the many projects of the club.

Hockey Legend Takes to Monaco’s Ice Rink
