On May 27, 2020 the financing contract was signed
fofr the financing contract was signed for the consolidation,
modernization, extension and endowment of the artificial ice rink
from Stadionului Street, no. 11, Gheorgheni municipality (Harghita county).
Main categories of work to be carried out aim at: changing the roof,
extending the grandstand, the technical spaces and annexes,
creating the necessary escape routes and a parking lot,
building a new body for training / gym / gym,
building a training / recovery pool.
The artificial ice rink was built between 1977-1982 and since then
no major repairs have been made to the building.
The duration of the contract is 29 months, of which 5 months for the design and 24 months for the effective execution of the works.
So far, CNI has completed 3 other artificial ice rinks:
1. Brasov in Brasov County
2. Carta in Harghita County
3. Targu Secuiesc in Covasna County
