Eisenberg's closed in 2012, afer 15 years in business. Vicki Eisenberg's former husband Arthur Eisenberg owned the land the park was situated on and he had been working with the Southern Land Company since 2008 to to make a deal to sell his land for development. That deal was stalled for several years but it was finalized in December of 2011. It was leveled to the ground to make room for retail and residential development. The property, along with parcels on either side that the city of Plano has added to the development deal, will become more than 300,000 square feet of apartments and retail. A portion will also be used as a parking garage for Plano Police Department vehicles. At the time of the closure the owners were considering opening in a new location, possibly in the city of Richardson. News About Einsenbergs Skatepark
